Rice Aus

• Stage:Flowering
• To control infestation of Blast & Brown spot in Aus rice, spray Carbendazim @2g/litre of water.
• Due to high humidity (warm and humid weather) possibility of pest and disease build up is more in crop. Take prophylactic measures accordingly.
• To control of insects like gall midge, white-backed plant hopper, Brown plant hopper & leaf folder apply Malathion 57EC or Fenitrothion 50EC @ 2.0 ml/litre water.
• There is chance of Rice stemborer, Rice bug, Earcutting caterpillar and Brown plant hopper(BPH) attack. To control insect spray Malathion 57EC/ Fenitrothion 50EC/ Imidacloprid 20 SL @ 2.0 ml/litre water.To control Earcutting caterpillar Spray Carbaryl 85wp @ 3.0g/litre water.
• To save the rice crop from sheath blight, keep the bunds of the field clean by removing grasses. If infestation noticed apply Propiconazol or Hexaconazol @ 1.0ml/litre water.
• All the plant protection measure should be taken in the afternoon at clear & sunny days.
• Apply fertilizers and pesticides after the current spell of rainfall.
• Do not apply irrigation.
• Present weather condition is congenial for Yellow Stem borer infestation. To control of insects like steam borer gall midge and white & brown hopper apply Corbofuron 3 G@33 kg or phorat 10G @ 10 kg per /hectare and for cut worm Clorpyrifos or Daiclorovash.

Vegetable

• Staking of bamboo should be provided to crops like tomato, chilli and brinjal for better support as wind is relatively strong during this time.
• Arrangement should be made for adequate drainage facility to avoid water stagnation in the crop fields.
• Hand pollination is effective at this stage of crop and weather for more production in case of tassel gourd and pointed gourd. Moreover, advised to cut aged leaves and continue other intercultural operations in vegetables land.·
• Drain out excess water if any.
• Apply pesticides after the current spell of rainfall.
• Do not apply Irrigation.

Horticultural

• Present weather condition is congenial for transplanting fruit-tree (Mango, coconut, palm tree, neem) plantation.
• Provide mechanical support to banana, young fruit plants and carry out propping up in sugarcane to prevent the crops from lodging due to strong winds. Keep harvested produce at safer places. Keep cattle/goats indoors during thunderstorms/dust storms.
• Weather is congenial for bud rot disease in coconut; spray 1% Bordeaux mixture on the spindle leaf and crown of palms. Make provisions for small drains at required intervals in the orchards to drain out excess water.
• Apply pesticides after the current spell of rainfall.
• Do not apply Irrigation.

Livestock

• To prevent various diseases as a recommended vaccine by the veterinarian.
• Ensure that water does not flow on the floor.
• Make sure the shelter at high and clean.
• Feed grass and grain feed and clean water also.

Poultry

• Care should be taken that the duck does not go into hot water.
• Provide dewormed to the poultry.
• Provide dry food and drink clean water.
• Keep poultry shed clean and disinfected. Spray disinfectant on the shed and then place the poultry.
• Provide adequate ventilation in the poultry sheds.

Fishery

• If there were fish diseases or less growth, contact the nearest Upazila fisheries office immediately.
• Monitor the growth of fish and disease by sampling every 15 days.
• Observe the fish for getting fed.
• Making your fish food, maintain the percentage of proteins and other ingredients as per the formula.
• Give quality food according to the quantity of fish at a specific time and place every day.
• Apply fertilizers (per day- Urea 6gm, TSP 4gm per decimal).
