Rainfall: Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur division with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country.
Temperature: Night and day temperature may fall by (1-3)°C over the country.
Country average bright sunshine hour was 6.94 hours per day during last week.

The Deep Depression over Southwest Bay intensified into a cyclonic Storm “Michaung”. It is likely to move in a North-westerly direction and may cross North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra coast by next 48 hours.
Weather may remain dry with partly cloudy sky over the country during 1st half (3 to 5 December) of this period.
Light to moderate Rain/Thunder showers is likely to occur at few places over Khulna, Barishal, Dhaka & Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Sylhet, Mymensingh & Rajshahi divisions with moderately heavy falls at isolated places over Southern part of the country and weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country during 2nd half (6 to 9 December) of this period.

According to the medium range forecast, The following agromet advisories are provided in these circumstances:
Khulna Region (Districts: Bagerhat, Khulna, Narail and Satkhira)

Farmers are advised to apply first irrigation at 3-leaves stage i.e., 17-21 days after sowing (DAS) at Crown Root Initiation stage for good yield.
